A friend has had a Sportster for a long time and he seemed to like it, so I gave it a try. It looks incredible! The seat was horrible - like riding on a cushioned board. Even with the "new rubber mounted motor", I felt jarred. I really wanted to like this bike but I just did not. Eventualy I got a Honda VTX1300 and discovered my Sportster friend got one as well. No offense to Harley but sometimes you have to go with performance over persona. We both ride a lot more now and in smooth comfort.
